Pancha Karma is Ayurveda's traditional cleansing program, removing toxins form the body, mind and spirit. It strengthens the immune system and promotes overall wellbeing, rejuvenation and longevity.
It involves very specific preparation, done at home, in order to ready the body to release and let go of stored toxins.
The individual body therapies are planned and administered to fit your specific condition and involve Abhyanga, herbal Steams, Shirodhara and a variety of other treatments including self administered enemas.
The treatments will be planned in a set of consecutive days, from 3-10 days, allowing the cleansing to penetrate deeper each day and thus assist in the release of long held physical and emotional toxins.
Overall, the whole process is deeply nourishing and relaxing.
Each day we will have a check-in session, followed by several treatments, lasting for around 2.5 hrs.
The treatments are traditionally performed by two therapists working in synchronised motions, however depending on the clients needs and physical condition as well as budget, some or all of the treatments can be done by one therapist.
You will be on a simple diet of kitcheri and veggies which is easy to digest and aids in the cleansing process. A lighter diet will be started already several weeks prior and maintained for several weeks after the treatments to ensure that the toxins are being eliminated properly.
We recommend that you stay on site for the duration of your Pancha Karma treatments in order to go deeper in your healing process and give all your senses a chance to fully rest. However, if you live in town and choose to commute we can pick you up from Summit Exit Hwy 17.
Accommodations are in our guest room / treatment room with private bathroom at additional $85.- night ( This includes breakfast and kitchari )
